Meet the Team

Dagmar

Coming from a non-technical background, Dagmar brings her knowledge of event organization to BSidesMunich and - after moving up North again - to Elbsides, Hamburg’s Bsides event. Through previous experiences in professional stage management / production for theatre in the UK and US, as well as Sci-Fi conventions in Germany, she teamed up with her husband Morton to organize events for the computer security industry. Having lived and worked in a variety of countries, she enjoys traveling the globe and seeing theatre productions, especially in London.

Eduardo

Eduardo was born in Guatemala and has been part of the organizing team for the past few years, after starting out as a volunteer. Based in Munich, he works on keeping complex systems secure and running smoothly. Outside of that, he enjoys bouldering, snowboarding, and most recently, the wild adventure of being a new dad.

Ingmar

Originally from the hilly Sauerland Ingmar was drawn by the big mountains (and of a job offer) to munich almost 15 years ago. After starting in systems and network administration Ingmar fell into the rabbit hole of security and annoyed clients with his findings as a penetration test and red teamer. His spare time his spent around the alps, on motorcycles, bikes or on foot.

JennJ

@jennjanesko

Suffering from persistent earworms, Jenn works as an earthling cyber security and privacy governance manager by day. Her nights and weekends are littered with jogging, 3d printing, video-editing, music-making, hiking, AI exploring and TV-binging. She prefers to undertake difficult tasks with epic background music and perpetually seeks early-evening karaoke and jeans made for short-legged tall people.

Morton

Morton has been a pioneer in anti-virus and IDS research since it’s inception in the late 1980’s. After working on various anti-virus engines, from his own, through S&S International’s (now McAfee) to IBM, he moved on to designing novel security models in the IoT and compliance space. More recently, he has been working at Trend Micro in Threat Research.

Nicole

Nicole is working as data protection professional with an IT background including some experience in Web Application Penetration Testing. In her spare time she is taking care of her raspberry pie.

Radoslav

Radoslav has passion about technologies, know-how sharing and promotion of best practices. With more than two decades in the IT sector, he has plenty of experience to share. For many years he has been supporting local tech communities. In his free time, he is writing articles, giving tech talks and organizing activities for children.

Sandra

Sandra is a life-, cyber-, sport-loving who turned a once-hidden hobby into a full-time career. With roots in strategy and business, she brings a rare combination of big-picture thinking and hands-on experience in information and cyber security. As a MUC:SEC organizer and active member of the community, values every opportunity to dive into technical topics. Weekend sailor.

Silvio

@Pinas_

Silvio started his cybersecurity journey when IRC was still a thing but BBS boards weren’t anymore. Since that time he was a student, a systems engineer, a consultant, a researcher and currently is an enthusiastic collector of red-teamers tears as part of an awesome blue team. He likes to do non computer stuff as well - but that’s a story for a different day.

Sneha

@Sneharajguru

Sneha has been working in the field of information security for over a decade now, she has spoken and provided training at various international security conferences. Outside work, she likes to take small hikes in the alps, spends her time building the 75192 Millennium Falcon and is obsessed with Darth Vader.
